Jasmina Coffa

Interior Designer &
Drapery Specialist

Jasmina Coffa has over 20 years helping clients attain their design goals in a thoughtful and professional style focusing primarily on Custom Drapery, Functions Window Treatments and soft furnishings.

A professional designer with in Interior Design designation from Sheridan College Jasmina has since helped hundreds of homeowners choose just the right functional and decorative treatments for the windows in their homes.

Dorota Amirmansour

Interior Designer &
Drapery Specialist

Dorota Amirmansour has over 20 years helping clients attain their design goals in a thoughtful and professional style focusing primarily on Custom Drapery, Functions Window Treatments and soft furnishings.

A professional designer since 1997, gradauting from Sheridan College with honours. Dorota has since helped hundreds of homeowners choose just the right functional and decorative treatments for the windows in their homes.

Winston Poxon

Our 8 pound
Mascot

He has zero experience in window coverings but is the best little greeter welcoming all our clients when they enter our showroom. You can usually find him napping on the one of our vignettes where he gets to oversee all the action, hide his bones under the pillows and nap.

A professional puppy since June 2024 he brings nothing but smiles to everyone he meets.

The Journey Here

1995 – Shades of Home opened as a shop-at-home service in Etobicoke.

1996 – Migrated to Oakville and began serving the local Oakville, Burlington and Mississauga markets along with my existing Etobicoke clients from my new design studio.

2002 – Opening the first design showcase in Old Bronte Harbour and began offering soft window treatments as well as the complete line of Hunter Douglas, Levolor, Shade-O-Matic, MaxxMar, Altex, Sunglow, Elite functional window treatments

2010 – Opened a sales office in Etobicoke to stay closer to our Etobicoke and Mississauga clients. Marie Iannace was hired as lead designer to service our increasing referral and repeat clientel.

2012 – Opened the showroom in Waterdown on Dundas Street East, Ontario to help service the growing needs of this community and outlying areas.

2013 – Moved to a larger Showroom on Speers road in Oakville in 2013 to better showcase our selection of Drapery, Blinds, Shades and motorization.

2016 – Toronto Design Studio/Showroom opened Jan 4th, 2016 at 900 Caledonia Road in the heart of the Castlefield Caledonia Design and Decor District.

2022 – Closed the Caledonia Location during COVID retaining our local presence with shop-at-homeservice.

2025 – Dorota Amirmansour joined our team as Custom Drapery & Interior Decor specialist.

2026 – Opened our NEWEST Mississauga location at 4181 Sladeview Crescent

February 2026 – Opened our first franchise in Orangeville - welcoming Shub Patel to our family.
